MY STORY
An old proverb says, “The apple doesn't fall far
from the tree.”   Idiomatically this proverb points
out that a child grows up to be very similar to its
parents.  Often found to be the case with artists.
Ryan Jones is such an artist.  His earliest and
fondest memories are of running to catch up to
his dad as they tripped through the homes his
father, a great interior designer, decorator and
artist, was decorating.

Watching his father mix and match colors, place
and replace furniture, accessories and all the
other tools artist’s used to create the perfect
interior design, was Ryan’s childhood world.
Intuitively, he gravitated to art and design
classes in school and college.  By the time he
bought his first house, it was second nature for
him to want to exercise his creativity by furnishing
and decorating it.
Without money and creativity as his only asset, he borrowed tools from friends and
family and set out to furnish and decorate his new home.  It wasn’t long before the
sent of fresh cut wood or the smooth feel of a polished surface inspired his artist’s
palette.   He carved, cut, painted, sanded, and stained making all the furniture to fill
his home.

Of course, he wasn’t satisfied with just crafting furniture and decorating.  He wanted
his home to permanently reflect who he was— his persona.  That’s when the idea hit
him.  He’d build one of a kind doors that reflected the things that inspirited him.   In
this way he become part of the home.

After years of honing his skills, perfecting his techniques, building a shop and many
doors, Ryan looks forward to sharing this simple idea of how to personalize a home
or even a commercial establishment.  He invites all those who wish to place their
personal signature on their homes or businesses to join him.
